Filled with quality yarns and tools for all types of fiber arts, Fiddlesticks offers classes as well as a place to gather with friends. They also partner with other local businesses, selling everything from locally made yarn and lotion to delicious fresh roasted coffee. Will Schroeder:  Hello my name is Will Schroeder. I am a Meat Inspector at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. In my role with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, I inspect meat shops that are licensed for “Equal-To” production.  This “Equal-To” program is the equivalent to USDA inspection and allows shops to sell their products throughout the state of Minnesota.  Part of my “Equal-To” inspection role includes inspecting the harvest of animals allowing the products produced from these animals to be sold by producers throughout Minnesota. I grew up on a small acreage, where I did own a small flock of ewes. I attended North Dakota State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. During my time at NDSU, I worked at the NDSU Sheep Unit, where I was able to learn a lot more about sheep production! My wife and I have recently purchased some acreage and are looking forward to owning our own flock!
