Who We Are

Honoring the Farming Community and Fiber Traditions of Northern Minnesota

The Sustainable Sheep and Fiber Community of Northern Minnesota is a group of sustainable sheep and fiber producers and artisans who are working to revitalize the sheep and fiber industry in Northern Minnesota, with a focus on sustainability, local meat and fiber production. The community holds many events, including the Small Scale Sustainable Sheep Farming Event, to help educate those who are interested in the sheep industry, and the Fosston Fiber Festival to promote fiber art and products.
