This is the breed of Colonial Williamsburg, stocked as an authentic heritage breed.  It is listed as a critically endangered breed and as such, Berryhill Farm works to restore this beautiful, gentle sheep with it's long curling locks and wonderful spinning handle.

Sheep producer: Two Cabbage Heads Creamery has Dairy, Fiber, and Commercial lines of registered Finnsheep within our 2x tested biosecure flock. Our goal is to create a dairy line with good health and parasite resistance, outstanding fiber in many colors, enough size/growth rate to be decent as market lambs, and all this on pasture. Finnsheep are a triple purpose breed with a very friendly disposition, so we collected diverse genetics from across the United States in 2022 to form a solid starter flock with many strong points. Felted fleece rugs, sheepsmilk lotions, raw Finnsheep wool and (coming soon!) roving are among the many wonderful products our flock contributes. Breeding stock will be available, mostly fiber and commercial lines since we're still developing our dairy lines.
