Dennis Engebretson:

History, Products and New Possibilities from Elk:  Dennis Engebretson will explore the varied products and income possibilities from raising elk, including the history of elk farming, markets and products from elk and new opportunities in fiber and yarn from elk undercoat.

Carrie Jessen:

“What To Do With All This Wool!”  Carrie will be discussing attributes of wool and how those are applied to handwoven articles.  She will share some of her experiences of fulling different types of wool and will give a brief early American history of wool and weaving.

Nicolette Slagle:

"Re-building a local hemp textile industry”:
Prior to the criminalization of cannabis, there was a thriving local hemp textile industry in the United States.  In Minnesota alone, there were at least 11 hemp mills.  Now, with the decriminalization of hemp and the passing of the new farm bill, this industry is re-emerging.

Rebecca Thingvold:

"Wooly Expectations; What Can/Should You do With Your Wool?"
